Rhetorical Answers-Responses to Questions never before asked

It really and truly amazes me the kinds of people that get elected by YOU the people to carry out high ranking positions in any shape of form.  Internet surfing today I was in somewhat of a multi tasking state of mind I was sitting, eating, internet-ing, and watching TV at the same time and while I was tucking in to a beautiful club sandwich I had made for myself I looked up and noticed that the episode of Weeds I was watching had run its natural course and stumbled through to the next hour long documentary about some sort of teen pregnancy pack that was made in some  high school in Boston and I have to say that I’m more than a little pissed off with what I had to see, not the whole pregnancy deal I really didn’t care much about that-these girls were doing it to take a stand, make a difference, change societies view and I’m all for that(General idea anyway). The thing that kinda pissed me off is the fact that I have just had to sit through about 2 to 3 minutes of the mayor of the town stuttering and mumbling ‘Eh….Um…. Well” when asked what she thought about these girls and the pack they had allegedly made and it truly sickens me to think that this woman managed to get into office when she hasn’t the Funking backbone to speak her mind(If any). The fact that she’s so terrified of what the public might think that she is reduced to a head scratching half wit who can’t even conjure a simple opinion for fear of being burnt at the steak or maybe she lives in some kind of dark age when “Women weren’t allowed to think for themselves”, In which case WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOIN IN CHARGE OF A FREAKING STATE. This whole song and dance of government has just become a great big performance or play(With a very boring story and no character development) where judgmental people go to watch people say the wrong thing and screw up so they can do nothing but boost their ego and think “I could do a much better job” which they don’t because they’re full of shit which may be what I’m doing right now but the difference is politicians are generally people who looked up at daddy when they were young and said “I wanna be somebody, I wanna make a difference” and so I think I’d be safe in assuming they are fairly opinionated, confident people.

My problem is mostly with the media who create this absurd situation where peoples are instantly hated for expressing an opinion that isn’t 100% patriotic or pro religion(In general not one specific one because that would cause mayhem amongst the high ranking believer types) that they with be publicly humiliated and forced to make an apology. Now what really bugs me is if a particular person, for example makes a racist statement (A racist statement being one in which a person expresses hatred for a race for being different NOT one where somebody accuses a race of having similar attributed which is being STEREOTYPICAL get the difference right) on public television in which many people are offended by they are instantly blacklisted from all humanity BUT if they were to go around to the exact same number of people that heard or saw them make that statement they would suffer nothing more than a judgmental look and at most a basic ass kicking(If they said it to the wrong people).

So it’s understandable that some people get a smidge of stage fright in front of a large audience (Some to the point where they revert to a child like state laughing and soiling themselves uncontrollably XD) but that Ok because usually the only people that make their way on television are the likes of famous people being interviewed, Internet stars, Footballers, talented actors and Jedward. So if indeed you get truly terrified by the Centroscopic. Articulated. Monovisual. electrocircuit. Replicating. Automator HAVE THE COMMON FUNKING SENSE TO NOT GET A JOB THAT ENTAILS BEING ON TELEVISION ALOT.

I have seen other numerous examples of this sort of thing but I’m picking on this one in particular because it’s by far the worst I mean listen to what she said exactly and you can tell me what’s wrong with her response

Interviewer: (Ask some question that wasn’t shown) something involving the idea of a pregnancy cult

Mayor: You know I think, I think (awful lot of thinking for someone who allegedly doesn’t) Moral panic to cult. (Wrong- Why?-down below)

First of which when you look up the word cult the results are:

Every single one of these describes the basis for religion and the only thing that defines the meaning of each is the popularity of said “System of worship” therefore by this logic religion is a cult and every one in the world should be “morally panicking” is that happening already you be the judge but if it is why would she notice any excess panic from this whole fiasco…???

Mayor:… and it had all the makings of, of , of human drama, Teenagers, Sex, Babies… you couldn’t write a script to describe this…

Woah, Whoa, Whoa… Back up… Slow down … Tea break… I’m not 100% sure but isn’t “Teenagers, Sex, Babies” the basis for one if not all episodes of every soap opera ever to hit the television screen in which case people can and have written MANY scripts about it…???

Interviewer: Was it definitely confirmed that there was no pact???… are you satisfied that there was no pact??? (Pregnancy Pact)

Mayor: …I mean I spoes I Um (sigh) (Looks up at the ceiling) (Deep Breath)…………Yes………….

(LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES not only is looking around you or indeed at the ceiling a proven tell from when somebody’s lying but this video states that one of the fathers of the children was a 24 year old homeless man and the others are all 20-25 year old men or other students at the high school and also the understanding is that they had no knowledge of what they were getting into and the principal stated specifically “This is not an issue of these girls having access to birth control it’s an issue of them intentionally going out and getting pregnant” so I don’t think anyone can argue that this was a pact to get pregnant for some reason or another)

Interviewer: What if there had been a pact???

Mayor: (An exact 5 second pause) (Deep Breath)… (Sigh) You know… (Breath) again that’s…that’s…….For me as CEO of the city it’s just I can’t…That’s just not Ummm… I don’t have thoughts on that, I’m not spending time on that… It just doesn’t… It’s not productive… I got, See that pile over there (Points to a 3 inch stack of papers) That’s what I have to work on….(Succession of nervous laughter)… and do… so I’m just, I’m not, I don’t even have the mental…Umm…(Chortle)… Stamina to entertain the question… Umm… Because it’s just not productive…

I don’t even know where to start with that response but the basic message I got was “As mayor I cannot and will not answer that question because I’m trying to not make myself look bad by having this thing be confirmed in happening 6 months into my term in office and I’m trying to keep it quiet despite the troves of conclusive evidence so that I can keep popularity” also not only could she not have helped but notice it because I’m sure it was all over the news there but It’s kinda her job to have the mental stamina to deal with these kind of issues and if she did notice it the only things I can think of in life that might not have an opinion on the subject would be either a sponge that is currently in use and has nowhere near the capacity to take on excess information due to all the water currently soaking in and out of him or her that is acting as a brain wash or a small garden rock and it would have to have no mates…

Well seems to me that if you blatantly lie to people’s faces… I’m not sure there gonna like you …..

At this point you might be thinking “Give her a break-it’s a touchy issue-she’s only on the job a few months-she’s trying to keep the towns reputation and other such arguments but it’s leaders like these that take command then openly screw you over so that they look good is what is wrong with government these days and the simple fact is that people like a leader with a bit of backbone hence being the quality making them a good candidate to be the leader and its simply impossible to do or say anything in a position of power that 100% of the population is going to agree with (unless you take the option of not doing or saying anything at all) in which case what’s the point in you being the leader anymore anyway….????? I leave that question to you… Thank you for taking the time to read this it’s my longest post to date with 1600+ words XD
